Palmer Bank's savings account pays a competitive rate with interest
compounding quarterly. The minimum deposit to open a Savings Account
is $100.00 ($50.00 if under 18). A service fee of $2.00 is charged
if the account balance falls below $200.00 during the month. The
service fee is waived for a minor under 18 years of age.
Whatever your savings goal, the Christmas Club -
Payment program makes it easier. Deposits can be made
at any time with a maturity date each year in early
October - in plenty of time for Christmas shopping.
Interest is paid at maturity.
This program is very similar to the Christmas Club
payment program, but earns a higher rate with the
auto-transfer of deposits from another account within
Palmer Bank. Interest will be paid at maturity in
early October.
CDs are available at market rates for as low as
$1,000. The rate is locked in until maturity. Terms
vary from 7 days to 60 months with no fees or
commissions.
